On Sunday morning, after a long illness, this world lost my mother.
My family and I are absolutely heartbroken. She battled her illness for 11 years, including dozens and dozens of trips to the Mayo Clinic for treatment. But in the end, God called her home. Her reunion in Heaven with my Dad had to be the best Father’s Day present that my dad had ever received. Although she was 78 years old, she had the spirit of a 30-year-old woman. She was amazing. She was beautiful, she was wonderful, she was my greatest advocate, she was my mother. Thank you to all of you for all of your well wishes and your prayers.
